Karshikadinam


Chingam 1,which is being observed as Farmer's Day heralded a new dawn of prosperity in the young minds of NSSHSS.They made Chingam 1,the first day of the Malayalam calendar, an eventful day.It began with a special assembly where a few students talked about the significance of agriculture has in our life and reminded the youth of the need to develop a positive attitude towards farming. They conducted an exhibition that displayed a wide range of farming equipment,utensils,medicinal plants,vegetables,and models.The exhibition turned out to be a feast for the audience.                                                                                   











A.Sreedharan.an ex-military officer turned farmer was felicitated on Farmer's Day at a simple but gracious function held at the school.In his speech he underscored the need to imbibe the lifestyle based on agriculture and strive to pass on to generation next.The function was presided over by Headmistress,M.K Rajeswari.
