The new comers were given a warm reception in a function organised at the school.Radhakrishnan Nair M,  the Principal, briefed the students on the rules and regulations of the school.Anil Kumar, the PTA president presided over the function and Ravinndranatha Warrier,Convener of parliamentry and Literary Affairs club of the school welcomed the gathering.Sreejaya,the Head mistress,NSS school delivered the felicitation address.

Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam - a man of indomitable spirit... the great visionary who kindled hopes about a puissant India ... an impeccable teacher who ignited fire in many young hearts...

His demise is an irreparable loss for entire India  but he will continue to be an inspiration for what he was and what he is!                                                                                         -
       

An awareness programme on anti-narcotics was held at the school in association with the Police Department under the aegis of the Ant-narcotic cell functioning in the school.Rajappan,SI of  Police,Hemambika Police Station led the programme.He sensitized the students on the dreadful effects of using drugs of various kinds and urged them to immune themselves from such inclinations and inform the police about drug trafficking of any sort at school.

Subha Yathra



A programme entitled'Subha Yathra' was conducted by Mobile Traffic Electronic Park at the school under the aegis of District Crime Branch,Palakkad.This programme aims at creating awareness among students on road safety.It highlighted the hazards caused by reckless driving and made the students alert on the need to follow traffic rules to avert accidents.Riyas.T,Civil Police Officer spearheaded the programme.Mubarak Ali.D and Abuthahir,  Civil Police Officers were also present.
